Diane Bower

Diane was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, while her father was serving in the U.S. Air Force. She traveled to numerous places stateside and England until her father’s last tour at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, where she graduated from Randolph High School. Diane then worked at Randolph AFB for 12 years in civil service. She met her future husband, Dean, and moved to Boerne to Dean’s family ranch and started a family.

Dean, Diane, and two daughters, Heidi and Carrie, live and ranch on property in Kendall County that has been in Dean’s family since the early 1900s. They have 50+ head of cattle, 45 Boer/Spanish-cross nanny goats (plus 19 new babies in April 2023). Diane spends her free time taking care of three dogs, feeding cattle, feeding and playing with the goats, helping Dean clear cedar, fixing fences, repairing tractors, working on trucks, and enjoying the outdoors.
