2H Ranch is located about 15± miles from Uvalde, 25± miles from Brackettville, 26± miles from Knippa, 37± miles from Sabinal, 73± miles from Castroville, 98± miles from downtown San Antonio, and 176± miles from Austin.

Found in the southern part of Uvalde County, 2H Ranch offers gently rolling terrain that is usable and accessible with 360-degree views. Ridges have gravel, and bottoms have deeper soils that can be tilled for food plots. Countless live oak trees are all over the ranch, with a dense concentration running north to south along a beautiful wet weather draw that runs the entire length of the west pasture.

The Seller indicates there are five underground caverns on the property, some large enough to crawl into if you’re into spelunking.

The headquarters is set back in the ranch serviced by an all-weather road where all structural improvements, except for the foreman’s house, are located, including the three-bedroom owners’ home, four-bedroom hunter’s lodge, three-bedroom guest house, one very large metal barn, one smaller metal barn, skeet shooting range, long-distance shooting range, and insulated game cleaning station.

The three-bedroom owners’ home is a recently updated custom-built home with rock exterior, an open floor plan, a spacious kitchen, an office, and three bedrooms with a large screened-in patio running along the entire front of the home.

The four-bedroom hunter’s lodge is also a recently updated custom-built home with an open floor plan, a kitchen, and a dining room.

There are 16 game feeding stations, in which most have water, two large-capacity feeders, and double-size hunting blinds.

The Seller has been focused on improving the whitetail genetics and has managed an impressive herd of bucks scoring into the 200s. No active DMP pens in 2023. Exotic species include herds of axis deer, Scimitar horned oryx, and black buck antelope. This area of Uvalde County is fantastic for dove hunting around stock tanks, or you can plant season food sources to hunt over. Quail populations can be very good in wet years in this part of Texas.

The ranch has seven water wells. Four of the wells have electricity. The Austin Chalk Water formation in this area is 150’-180’± deep with static levels around 90’±.
