LOCATION
The Barnes Ranch is located about 20± minutes from Kerrville and 30± minutes from Fredericksburg along Reservation Road, which is a paved county road. From Kerrville, head northwest of Interstate 10 West and take Exit 429 to RR 479.Travel 5.2± miles north on RR 479 and take a right on Reservation Road. Travel approximately one mile on Reservation Road and the ranch will be on the right-hand side. From Fredericksburg, travel west on Highway 290 for 25± miles, turning left on Reservation Road. Travel 3.1± miles, and the ranch will be on the left-hand side.
LAND
The ranch is situated amongst a beautiful, private Hill Country setting. The terrain has a gentle roll with a tremendous amount of diversity in vegetation with live oak, post oak, blackjack oak, Spanish oak, and shin oak all present. There are two Tifton 85 fields on the ranch that are in good shape. The field on the north end of the ranch is 5.5± acres. The field on the south end is 7.5± acres and has a solar pump water well that distributes water to a nearby trough.
